1SCOPE
ThisStandardspecifiesthemeasurementprocedure,environmentandinstrumentationformeasuringtheexteriorsoundpressurelevelsfromroadvehiclesunderstationaryconditions,,MandNequippedwithinternalcombustionengines.
ThisStandardprovidesasimpleandconvenientmeasurementmethodbywhichthereproducibilityofsoundpressurelevelscanbemadeundertheoperatingconditionsofthevehicle.
ThisStandardappliesto,whenthevehicleisstationary,themethodsformeasuringthereproducibilityofA-weightedsoundpressurelevelwithinthefollowingscope:
testingattypeapprovalofvehicle;
testingatthemanufacturingstage;
testingattheannualinspection;
testingatroadsidesamplinginspection.
ThisStandardspecifiesneitheramethodtochecktheexhaustsoundpressurelevelwhentheengineisoperatedatrealisticloadsnoramethodtocheckthecomplianceofexhaustsoundpressurelevelswiththenoiselimitsforcategoriesofroadvehicles.

3TERMSANDDEFINITIONS
Forthepurposeofthisstandard,thefollowingtermsanddefinitionsapply.
本标准规定了发动机转速连续变化时，机动车辆定置条件下．车外噪声声压级测量方法、所需的测试环境和测试所用设备。本标准仅适用于使用内燃机的L、M和N类车辆。
本标准提供了一种在车辆运转状态下，可测量得到l再现i噪声声压级的简便易行的测量方法。车辆定置时无燃烧运转状态不在本标准的适用范围内。
本标准规定车辆定直时，适用于以下范围的A计权声压级再现性测量方法．
一一车辆型式认证时的检测；
一一生产阶段的检测；
一一年检时的检测；
一一路边抽样检测。
标准不适用于测量发动机在实际载荷状态下的排气l噪声，也不适用于检查各类车辆排气噪声限值是否达标。

3.1
L类车辆vehiclecategoryL
通常为四轮以下的摩托车辆，目前已扩展至一些空载质量较小、车速较低、功率较小的四轮车辆，如L6类车辆和L7类车辆。
3.1.1
L6类车辆categoryL6
四轮车辆，其空载质量不超过350kg，对电动车，不包括电池的质量，并且设计的最高车速不超过45km/h，若使用火花（强制〉点火式发动机．其汽缸排量不超过50mL，或使用其它类型内燃发动机，其最大净输出功率不跑过4kW，或使用电动发动机，其最大连续额定功率不超过4kvV。
3.1.2
L7类车辆categoryL7
四轮车辆，与L6类车辆不同，其空载质量不超过400kg（用于载货的则不超过550kg），对电动车，不包括电池的质量，并且其最大连续额定功率不超过15kW。
3.2M类车辆vehiclecategoryM
至少有四个车轮并且用于载客的机动车辆。
3.3N类车辆vehiclecategoryN
至少有四个车轮并且用于载货的机动车辆。
